DirecTV customers now have access to Watch ESPN and ESPN3
It’s been the wait of a thousands years – or at least it seems like it. After much patience, speculations, and rumors, the moment has finally arrived when DirecTV customers now have access to watch ESPN and ESPN3.
…and the crowd goes wild.
The broadcast company customers have waited literal years to be able to stream ESPN, and let’s be honest, it’s one of the selling points of any cable provider. “What sports packages do you have?” Even the fine folk who have been long time DirecTV subscribers have been blocked from streaming ESPN from the iPads, Spartphones, tablets, and even PCs. It’s like they had everything on lockdown.
Well, that’s over.
DirecTV’s parent company is Disney (didn’t know, now you do!), and they have confirmed that DirecTV customer have received full access to stream ESPN, as well as some other live streaming apps from Disney. In addition, in some markets (Chicago, Philadelphia, Houston, LA), New Video on Demand service is opening up. Imagine all of the missed shows that you forgot to watch on Sunday night being available to you bring and early on Monday.
It smells like something amazing going on in here for DirecTV customers.
The sports channels themselves that will be available to DirectTV customers is rather impressive as well, including: ESPN2, ESPN3, ESPNU, ESPNEWS, Longhorn Network, and more.
Thousands of DirecTV fans are breathing a sigh of relief this morning, as hopefully they’re getting their money’s worth. Finally.
