Glee’s Sue Sylvester, the sassy cheerleader coach, is getting married on the November 23rd outing of the popular Fox series. Sylvester’s real life alter ego, actress Jane Lynch won’t say who her character is marrying, but she is talking about the wedding gown, or rather, wedding outfit.
According to Xfinity, Lynch stated, “The dress is so awesome. It’s by Ali Rahimi, the guy who actually did my whole outfit and [my outfits for the] Emmy and Golden Globe awards. He’s a great designer. He made a Sue Sylvester tracksuit wedding dress.”
Whether the outfit is a gown or a glorified tracksuit, viewers will just have to wait and see. What is known is that the show is the one that will guest star comedian Carol Burnett as Sylvester’s Nazi-hunter mother. Lynch added that her TV mom wants to sing at the wedding, though she doesn’t go so far as to say what ultimately happens.
In reality, this is Lynch’s wedding year as the actress married Dr. Laura Embry in May. She didn’t wear a gown then, but rather a blouse and dress pants.
Glee’s recent spectacles haven’t done as well as anticipated in the ratings, so there are high hopes for this episode.
