Many of us think of our televisions when it comes to the DTV transition. Many items we may never have thought of are also affected. To name a couple, cellular phones. There are currently over 100 million people using cellular phones in the US. By now I believe all of us have been switched from analog to digital cellular phone service. And then there’s Onstar. OnStar By GM | OnStar.com, Car Safety Device and Vehicle Security System think of all the General Motors automobiles driving around that include the Onstar service. All Onstar subscribers with GM vehicles built before 2002 will no longer be able to use their Onstar service. Or will they? Is there a digital to analog converter available for Onstar subscribers?
