Broadcast station KIRO, Ch 7, in Seattle, WA will be removing its analog antenna at the station’s Queen Anne tower tomorrow and replacing it with a digital antenna in the same position. It’s estimated that work will be completed by Saturday, July 11th.

KIRO has released a news update today notifying its viewers that digital signals will still be broadcasted throughout the week, but at a lower power output of 50% of normal power.

Viewers in outlying areas and some outlying cable companies may not be able to receive KIRO’s signal during the work on the tower.

The full-strength signal should be restored to all viewers by Sunday.
