KKTV in Colorado Springs, Colo., has asked the FCC to change its Channel 10 allotment in exchange for Channel 49.
The requested move is an effort to improve coverage for KKTV’s customers by switching from VHF to UHF frequency.
The proprosed effective radiated power (ERP) on channel 49 would be 550 kW at a height above average terrain of 725 meters.
