Channel 13 ABC is currently working on boosting digital television signals for viewers in the Toledo, OH area. Channel 13 recommends that viewers of their station and WTOL channel 11 CBS purchase a UHF/VHF antenna because both stations are now operating on the hi-band VHF frequencies.
Channel 13 ABC station engineer, Tom Young had this to say about boosting signals for viewers,
We’re converting our old analog transmitter to be a digital transmitter so we can put out more power. Right now were running a few kilowatts short of what our authorization is.
