Well, got married and went on a honeymoon this past month. Was busy to say the least. Anyway, I'll be back and participating a bit more here on the forum. As always, please PM me if you have any questions or concerns.

Here's a pesky bird from our trip. ;) Can anyone confirm if this is a seagull?

It's freakin sea gull. They fly over tourists dropping this white manure on them. I don't know how many times I have been hit by their crap (literally) at the beach. I even had one destroy a tray of frozen daiquiris I was taking from our motel room to the pool. Hit me in the head also. Had to take a shower and make new drinks...

So I take it this post means the honeymoon is over?

EV, I hope it wasn't a fertility symbol. Not yet atleast!

Thanks Tim!

Piggie, at one of the outdoor restaurant's we dined at....if you didn't stand near your lunch plate, it was fair game for the seagulls. ;)

Jay,
Congratulations! I'm pretty sure your pesky bird was a Glaucous Gull (Larus Hyperboreus) which are common in the Northwest.

Pesky is right, the little guy stood on our balcony for hours that afternoon, and was there the next morning waiting for handouts. The bellhop told us that folks usually leave their balcony door open while they're out of the hotel...and come back to find a room full of bird crap everywhere. :eyes:

Welcome back, Jay. You were definitely missed around here. Love the bird. I'm a big animal lover and something like that just makes me smile.
