Amazon : "This is absolutely not a game console"

Amazon made it clear that their new Set Top Box is NOT in competition with the established gaming consoles.

It may not be in competition with the "established" game consoles, but I'd say it is with game devices like the OUYA and similar things that the general public hasn't embraced yet. Plus, the more time people spend on any device, the less time they spend on others.

If they plan on competing with the OUYA then they will absolutlely dominate that market. The OUYA was an absolute piece of crap jesus christ just thinking about it makes me so angry because It had so much potential but in the end they cut so many corners it's ridiculous.
