It's a couple of years old now, but just last night I saw the American Masters documentary on David Geffen for the first time. I really had no idea the extent to which he has embodied the image of a show business mogul over the course of his career. If you're not familiar with him, he founded Asylum Records and Geffen Records and was one of the three founding partners in Dreamworks SKG. It was educational but I got the sense that it was a bit of a puff piece, unless it just isn't possible to find someone willing to say a bad thing about him. Regardless, I found it interesting. Has anyone else seen it?
