I love this show. I've read most of Kathy Reichs' books. The show's characters are a little different from those in the book, but the pemise is the same. I just wonder how long it will be before Booth and Tempe actually get together.
When Booth and Bones talk at times, they seem to get really close together, like one of those invading personal space moments....and they even have a moment or two at times when they're looking at each other, after conversation......I guess it's all part of the plot.
I'm beginning to have my doubts about this show. Oh, don't get me wrong, I still love the show. But the main premise was about the insane cases they investigate. The first two episodes of the season had too much soap opera quality about them. All the relationship stuff. I don't like the writers and director making Tempe look like a promiscuous slut hooking up with various men all the time.
i think it is inevitable that they get together. my wife is hooked on this show and wonders if and when they hook up....the anticipation is killing her
I don't get why chicks dig David Boreanaz. He's a good actor, but come on.....lol Oh, and my girlfriend loves this show....Did I mention I hate Boreanaz!
they might get together... you never know, there might be an unexpected twist where they don't? It's pretty hard to say, when sometimes its kind of vague about their relationship, like they can't really decide... lol

i think sooner or later they will eventually hook up. the way he looks and talks to her, it seems like he is waiting for her to know they are meant to be or something.

Right now this is my favorite show! I like it so much I'm going to buy the show on DVDs, and thats saying a lot! I haven't read any of the books but I probably will try at least one just to see how the characters are different. I think if they get together it will take a couple more seasons and I'm not sure the show would be as good without that tension between them. I loved the episode where Tempe was dating two different men and at the end they found out about each other and the reason why Tempe was dating each of them. That was a hoot. The really interesting thing was that Tempe couldn't fathom why it would be an issue to date someone just based on physical vs intellectual criteria.
I actually wish I had not seen the Angel series before this show. I keep expecting Booth to go all 'demon vampire' on somebody which would of course stir up Tempe's anthropological juices. He's cute I guess but the actor who played Harmon Rabb on JAG is THE cutest in my book.

I've always wondered how writers decide what direction to take during a season. Maybe they get some feedback from viewers that indicates the show is getting a little 'tech' heavy (never happen for me) so they add in more 'personal' stuff. Or maybe the actors want more development in those areas. Who knows... anyway as to Tempe's 'social' life I think if it were any other charactor or show I would agree they need to dial it back but in this case its just another example of how Tempe views everthing with an extreme clinical detatchment. The closest I've seen her come to a real emotional connection was when she wanted to adopt the dog who killed one of the subjects in a case. It was the dog fighting episode. She seemed truly distressed when Booth told her the dog had been put done. And when they buried the dog I was really touched by her 'prayer' over the grave.
I hope they do hook up and David Boreanaz is HOT! I mean how is he not :-D HAHA. But I do love this show. The soap opera behind it is what makes the show so interesting. It really wouldn't be a show without the relationships.
I don't think that the writers are going to put Tempe and Booth together. I think its one of those things that is a part of the show, allowing them to get so close then both their problems with relationships pulls them apart again.
I really enjoy the show but I wish that the writers would allow Emily to have a little more common sense. The I am an anthropologist and cannot talk about anything but that is a bit old.
That is not the way Kathy wrote her in the book. Yes she was very academic but Tempe had a very human side to her as well.
I don't think they will be able to have a relationship. The show reminds me of the Superman movie. They cant reveal their relationship or their safety would be at stake.
Dont you all remember the x files how many shows did they keep mulder & scully apart but nearly together same great chemistry it keeps us all guessing lol
