The new season of Call the Midwife (season 3) is starting on PBS this Sunday night! Is anyone else excited?
Although some scenes are difficult for me to watch (due to content that makes me depressed or uncomfortable), it's also a good show that keeps me interested. Even though it's fictionalized, it is based on memoirs, and it feels very much like an accurate portrayal of a time period and events that aren't familiar to me.
Miranda Hart (Chummy) is now one of my favorite actresses (she also has a great comedy series called Miranda that's available on Hulu). The rest of the actresses portraying the nuns and midwives are also entertaining to watch.
