I don't really use the text option for my phone, but just randomly I hit the text section on my xfinity connect app and noticed there was this screen error. I decided to try sending & receiving a test text message from and to my cell phone and of course it did not work. I tried to do the same from my desktop using xfinity's website and nothing. I contacted customer support about two days ago and was told they needed to send a message to a higher technician for resolution.
It's not an option I use a lot but I would feel better knowing that something I pay for is working.
