[QUOTE="Thomas G, post: 210919, member: 428"]This may very well be our best game of the week. The Chiefs and Steelers stats match up fairly evenly. Both 2-1 teams rank in the low 20s in total yards gained. Their run to pass ratio mirror each others and they have scored roughly the same number of points. Both teams are fixing to get back their stud running back, although the Chiefs may have to wait a week or two before Jamaal Charles resumes his usual workload. The biggest difference in these two teams’ offenses lies in their execution on 3rd down. The Steelers are converting at 48%, which is right at the top of the league, while Kansas City struggles on 3rd downs with a 35% conversion rate. The addition of Le’Veon Bell should only help in this regard.

The defenses have both excels in different areas. The Steelers have been stingy against the run, only giving up 75 rushing yards per game (4th best), while the Steelers have dominated against the pass. They have limited teams to an average of 225 passing yards per game and have allowed just 2 passing TDs compared the 8 interceptions they have forced. Kansas City’s defensive efforts have translated to the scoreboard more so than the Steelers. The Steelers have a negative point differential due largely to their 2nd worst pass defense in the league (332 passing yards per game). The Chiefs, meanwhile, have the best point differential (20) of any 2-1 team.

This is going to be a really fun game to watch.
