Circuit City closes it's stores

Unfortunately, Circuit City is closing 155 stores across America. This comes only weeks before normally they would be running their Black Friday Sales. Every year customers camp outside the store no matter how cold it is, waiting on the Day after Thanksgiving Sales. It is such a shame they couldn't wait a few more weeks, as the holiday season sales could have possibly pulled them out of their slump.

Thanks so much for the information. This is unbelievable. I bought my laptop through Circuit City. It has been giving me some trouble lately, but I do a lot of work on it so I have been putting it off taking it in for repair. Thankfully, they are leaving at least three stores in my state. One of them, is only about an hour away. ;o)

I think this holiday season will not pull any store out of its slump. Most of us don't have the money we've had in years past to spend, so I just don't think that would have helped Circuit City, unfortunately.
