I had an extra HP computer around the house outfitted with an older analog TV tuner that as you all know won't be good after the transition. One thing important about the tuner is that it has a input which allows you to connect a cable or satellite or VCR or even a DVD to it.
So I took a Insignia NS-DXA1 Converter, connected an antenna to it, and connected it to the input on the back of my TV card. And BINGO. Instant digital-to-analog conversion.
Just thought I'd take a few minutes to share. It can be done and I know there are a lot of cheap alternatives too for digital PC tuners, but I haven't seen a lot of people talking about this on forums.
