Last night I decided to go to an open mic event in Orlando. There was a feature performer from an R&B group from the 90's. I expected that the headliner would come out and only do one or two songs but I was shocked that he performed about six songs. Unlike some performers who only come out to make their money and then leave he gave the crowd his all. I felt like a teenager all over again listening to some of his greatest hits and songs from my childhood. The night was so amazing. I had forgotten about the energy I get from live music. Now I'm going to be looking for shows coming to my area. I'm still on cloud nine right now.
