Contract termination over pricing increases?

No, this does not give you grounds to terminate your contract. If you read the fine print, or if the agents tell you all the dirty little details when you sign up for a service like DirecTV and agree to a term contract then that is it, you have agreed to their services for X amount of years or months and no change in service can really cancel that out because your agreement covers price changes etc. If you cancel they will still charge you a cancellation fee which can be really costly. You could try complaining to the company, but corporations have a better chance of winning than you as an individual.
