Do You Remeber Sega Genesis

#1
Sega Genesis was introduced in the 1980's. Japan had known the system to be Sega Mega Drive, which it landed there sometime in 1988. By 1989 , the United States had began to enjoy this fun way of playing games. Rather than having one option, to go to the Arcade and pay money to play their games for limited time. At least with owing a console there is no limit on the person's fun. Genesis surfaced to Brazil in 1990.

Cleverly Nintendo Gaming Company also made Genesis games available in the Arcade. Super Mario games started a revolution in the world of games. Everyone from adults down to little children appreciated the concept of Mario Brothers. This game added a new edge. My all time favorite game for this system is Sonic The Hedgehog . I can remember having sleepovers with me, my sister and our cousin's. We always played that game and had competitions. I also enjoyed playing Pac Man games. The cool sound both of those games was great for effects. http://classicgames.about.com/od/co...he-Sega-Genesis-Dawn-Of-The-16-Bit-Era.htmcts., to learn the history of Sega Genesis or Nintendo Game Systems.

Oh ya I remember the Sega Genesis! I have to say it is one of my favorite gaming systems. Along with the Game Cube. But I actually had no idea that Sega Genesis came out in the 1980's. I have also noticed that china seems to be the first place things go. Or are made there before it hits the United States. Which makes me wonder why that actually is.

I not only remember it, I have one. In fact I have TWO - the original and a bunch of game carts, and a AtGames Sega Genesis Classic Game Console - Deluxe Version that I picked up for $30 just before xmas. It not only comes with 2 wireless controllers an 80 games built in, it has a slot to take the original game carts. The kids love Sonic!

There is also a remake available of the original Atari with built in games - but it lacks the game port the Genesis remake has, and has some pretty lousy reviews.

I regret not knowing it. I wish I could live in the era when every new gaming system had a whole new WOW! factor. I'm happy with what we have nowadays but we're so spoiled! I'd like to possess the ability of appreciating three new pixels and two new shades of green on a new console :D

Wow that is great. I would like to own one of those game systems again. This system was so fun to play and like I have already stated previously, I love sonic. As far as Atari ,even though it is a classic. I really don't recall playing the game than again that was over like 14 years ago. The remake seem nice, 80 built in games. A person really can't beat that deal.

Do I remember the Sega Genesis? Of course I do. This was the game system of the 90s. I could sit and play Sonic the Hedgehog for hours on end. I remember how long it took me to beat Dr. Robotnik. After all of the time and effort I put into beating the game I was so proud of myself. I had to have been in the 5th grade but I swear all I did was play Sega.

We briefly had a Sega system, my dad replaced our original Nintendo with it and then my dad replaced it with a a Super Nintendo system. Pretty sure it was in that order. I didn't play much, my little brother played more than any of us.
