DTV Problems - Fuzzy Channels

My husband finished setting up our new converter box this past weekend, and a couple of the digital channels (which we received just fine on the old analog signals) don't come in too well.

My husband wrote down the details of our "setup" for me.

Insignia Converter Box
Sony Wega 32" TV
Terk Powered Indoor Antenna

After doing some searching on Google, it looks like we have pixelation (wich best describes the kind of reception we are receiving). What can we do to fix this? It gets so bad sometimes, that the TV will eventually go dark and display a "No Signal" message. How can it be possible to receive a "No Signal" with an antenna?

Sounds like a weak signal it is all or nothing in digital not like analog where you would get a snowy picture. what kind of antenna are you using indoor antennas and rabbit ears will only pull in very close stations if they are 30 miles or more away you will need a outdoor antenna. tell me some more info as well as zip code you can go to tvfool.com put in your address and it will tell you what you should be getting.:)

It's one of the drawbacks to digital tv. Just like Cowboy said, in the old days before DTV, you would get a snowy picture when you didn't receive a good signal, now you receive a pixelated picture on your TV.

I'd adjust the location of that antenna, try to place it in a higher location or even lower location.

I thought DTV was suppose to be better, but all I have read here is where it is making channels worse not better. What is the deal with this, will it get better or should we expect things like with MS operating systems.
