$3.00 for "Dark Night" isn't bad, I wonder what the resolution is going to be...HD?

I bet Apple is going to start streaming movies/TV shows from iTunes for mobile devices soon.

It's a 3 year old movie?
I can buy "Dark Knight" used for under $5 on DVD. It comes with special features that you don't get online, and when I'm done I can sell it for about $5. For immediant grarification, Hastings will rent me a copy for about the same price. Or I can add it to my Netflix cue for no extra charge - and get it on Blu-Ray, too.

And, I don't have to go to Facebook - win!

I was just going to say that! I want to own a movie, not rent it. Movie and music studios are going to defeat the pirates by making content temporarily available but legitimate people are going to lose out on having a collection of movies. Or am I the only one that likes to watch movies more than once?

Well, it's not the movie itself but the delivery method. TDK was used as a test. Warner Bros says there will be additional titles. The tie in with social networking is interesting. You have to "like" the page which shows up on your wall, and your news feed I believe. Then your friends will see and click. It will become like a swarm of bees in short order.
