I'm a huge fan of criminal shows on television. From my teenage years I have been a fan of these types of shows. I recall watching Law & Order marathons with my dad when I was in middle school. We could watch them for hours and not get bored. They seem to keep you engrossed without you even realizing it. The funny part is no matter how many times I see a rerun of an episode I still watch it from beginning to end. Some of these new shows I can't even get pass ten minutes of them. It was Law & Order that made me want to be a crime scene investigator. That is until I found out I could not handle the real stuff. So for now I will just live vicariously through detectives on my favorite show.

Ya, I agree. I cannot handle the actual stuff either. But I watch reruns and other new shows related to crime. But sense I have netflix. I haven't really watched any crime shows. So I go to reading a crime related book. Nine times out of ten I would rather have a book because my imagination seems to work better than my eyes. LOL

Geez, I can't stand SVU, and that's all they ever show OTA. Every show is about the one cop who's supposed to be some super-psych out artist. I don't think half of 1% of real crimes get solved that way, but that's all they do, show after show after show. You've seen one, you've seen 'em all.

The original Law and Order was sooooooo much better!
