Loud Fan Noise

I am a new customer. I have a problem with the X1 TV box's fan making a loud high pitched noise. After googling this I see the only recourse is to get a new box. So after trying to find a way to do this and not finding one I came here. Does anyone know what the process is for getting this replaced.
