Mute Symbol suddenly appears of LG TV with Sound Bar

I've have my LG TV and Sound Bar for close to a year. Today all of a sudden the mute symbol appared and stayed on permanently and it moves up and down. Very distracting. Did comcast make a change that caused this symbol to appear? Please remove it from my TV.
