PBS programs received 43 nominations for the 35th Annual News & Documentary Emmy® Awards, the most earned by any organization. The nominees were announced July 15, 2014 by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS). The awards honor programming distributed during the 2013 calendar year.

PBS certainly does do a lot of documentaries. I know some say certain ones were biased...but I can't actually remember which ones.

Politics aside...

I remember one they did on Bill Clinton. If you knew what you were looking at you knew he had a lot of hurtful childhood experiences...that can show up...like they did, do.

PBS also did one called Merchants Of Cool which was fantastic. It showed how MTV and similar marketers study and manipulate youth and youth behavior. It was pretty damning. This was back in the Myspace days...if anyone was into that. I remember it. There is a new similar docu they did on the same lines of investigation. I have to look that one up.
