Power Supply Required?

I purchased a 150 mile outdoor antenna. It comes with a motor for rotating it but my home setup is difficult and I can't easily use the power supply. Can I just run the coax cable from the antenna inside to my tv? I understand I won't be able to use the motor.

I was hoping that I can point it in the direction of Cleveland to get my local channels. I have mostly water between my house and Cleveland about 70 miles away.

Those anennas rely on an amplifier to produce any acceptable long distance reception. The antenna is too small, so they have to amplify the heck out of any signal it gets to be worth anything. I'd recommend buying a conventional antenna matched to the frequencies you need to receive and sized for how far away and how strong your signals are. Those 150 mile antennas are Chinese junk.
