PS3 prices

Do you think the PS3 will go down in price? I would LOVE to buy one for Christmas but I can't afford to buy a system that is THAT expensive. What do you guys think and how long do you think it will take to lower the price?

Xbox 360 went down, so you would think business wise that Ps3 would lowers theirs as well, but unfortunately I've heard no news about it yet.

PS3 Prices

In my opinion, I think the prices will go down if they want people to buy them. The economy is so bad at this time; it would be unwise for them not to lower prices.

It's been a while since anyone left a comment on this topic, but as we can see, PS3 prices did not drop significantly.
i was waiting for the same thing to happen but when it didn't I just went ahead and bought one.
If you're really passionate about gaming, go ahead and buy it. Trust me, you wont be sorry.

I'm sure the PS3 prices will be lowered due to the heavy competitors such as Nintendo's Wii and Microsoft's Xbox360. Just wait, most electronics will inevitably become cheaper in due time.

PS3's always go for way too much on there, seems like people get carried away with hot electronics on ebay like Iphone, PS3, Wii, etc. IMHO, it seems like the cost savings you get, isn't worth not having a warranty.

PS3 sales recently fell to a new level this year and I am very much optimistic that we would see a drop in the prices of PS3 as many of the manufactured PS3's are not yet sold.

Yeah because it didn't fall in price I ended up getting an xbox 360 for Christmas for my boyfriend and not the ps3...ps3 would've been my first choice but I couldn't afford it.
