Showtime, bravo on demand says subscription required

Started watching Your Honor on Showtime airing in real time but it was episode 2 and we wanted to start with episode one. Went into on demand selected episode one and it said I needed a subscription to watch. Showtime is included in my bundle. Same thing happened with below deck on bravo. When trying to watch on demand through x1 box says a subscription is needed. Was able to watch both by downloading the apps to my amazon fire. Why can't I simply access these on demand from the x1 cable box?
