Yeah, I had to give up energy drinks 2 years ago...my job had me doing shifts...I just starting feeling really, really bad after drinking them daily for about a year. Now I'm just coffee and soda for my "fix"!

I used to drink Monsters. We sold them at some of our punk/metal shows. Sometimes there would be someone who drank several and would need to be iced down. Red faced, heart racing. I also stopped drinking them. Today I find that one Coke is OK. A cup o' coffee is good. Gator aid really helps for some reason. I stay alert and awake but not "jacked up" on a stimulant.

I used to be an energy drink junkie. I had to have them everyday just to function. I was working two jobs so I needed that extra boost to stay awake. Now I only drink coffee or cappuccino in the morning. Luckily I don't live near a Starbucks otherwise I would go everyday.

We live within a 1 minute drive of 3 starbucks....Not always a good thing but not always a bad thing either HA! When we had to move to Pittsburgh for a year for my job we had to drive 15 minutes to get to the nearest Starbucks. We were like "this is ridiculous how is there no starbucks?!?" Now that we're home (5months) weve only gone 2 or 3 times, so, we've definitely tempered our Starbucks habit. My wife can actually walk into Target and shop without getting a frap first, this is a big deal just so you know LOL.....

We have dramatically reduced stimulants intake. It was causing all kinds of internal clock problems. Sleep cycles were disrupted, anxiety for the super sensitive. It is an improvement but we have to watch soda, iced tea, and real hot teas.
