Those are some incredible deals. Is this just a sign that retailers are getting desperate for customers? If prices are low now, I wonder if they'll drop even more after the holidays as stores move into inventory mode.

I think the time is ripe to jump on these deals. These are the inventory reduction deals and they wont be restocking to the same levels. Additionally the dollar is falling in value and will continue its decline.

Its true that old models will be clearanced in Feb to make room for new models...but they wont be stocked at nearly as high of levels.

Now is a good time to buy with these fantastic deals.

Are you wanting an OTA HD Digital Video Recorder?

If so the pickins are slim.

The Dish Network Echostar DTVPal DVR is still available, from what I understand. LG 3410A and Sony 250 and 500 GB versions were discontinued several years ago and go for good money on the used market. Better just to get the DTVPal DVR, I think, which has a later generation tuner.

You can also set up a computer or laptop to record.

Bicker is the most knowledgable about these types of things on this forum, I think. You should ask him. Or start a new thread, Im sure he will pick up on it.
