spliters and combiners

Many people use splitters and signal combiners in their set up. FYI if you use a one in to two spliter you get a 1-2db drop in signal the bigger the spliter or combiner the bigger the drop in signal strength. so if you use these in your coax runs you may have to add a pre-amp at the antenna or a distribution amp when running to two or more TVs. Do not add distribution amps to single runs of coax to one TV this can cause signal distortion and can be as bad as a weak signal. If you need more signal on a single run from an antenna use a Pre-amp at the antenna. Just some lessons learned along the way.:)
