Has anyone watched these show? I really enjoy them. Each a law enforcement officer but each with their own distict personalities. I love Kyra Sedgwick's Southern lady persona and Holly Hunter's hellraiser personality. Which is your favorite?

So who else is utterly impressed with Sosie Bacon's work the last few weeks (given that it is basically her first significant featured role, ever)? Other than the distraction that she looks much too much like Brenda's daughter instead of her niece :))), her portrayal of the niece is spot-on, IMHO, so natural and believable and compelling, and makes the stiff and unimpressive performance of some of the other supporting characters (Buzz especially) even more jarring.

She's easy on the eyes. :cheesy: Haven't watched enough to really comment on her performance really, need to get another dvr!

Yes, very pretty and I originally thought that was going to be the extent of it -- after all, she's the star/producer's daughter. However, putting both those things completely aside, she's pretty darned remarkable as an actress. A natural my wife says. I suppose we'd really need to see her in a few more roles, different roles, to be sure she isn't just a one-kind-of-role-actress (there are a few of those, eh?)

I watched the pilot and a few episodes of Saving Grace from season 1 and then lost interest. Over the summer, I watched an episode two of The Closer and was intrigued but not enough to seek it out.
