True Blood is a must see!!!! I was thrilled when I found out that HBO had decided to do a show that is based on Charlaine Harris's southern vampire novels. I have loved the series and have read most of them! I have been glued to the screen since True Blood started and it has not disappointed me!
I was a bit upset because they left out one vampire that I would have really loved to have seen included in the show! I really don't know why he was not included as it would have been a great thing to add to the story line and would have been better than some of the stuff they have added in there that was not in the books.
However I will forgive HBO their creative license and adding all the sex that they have in order to draw in more viewers. The books were great without tons of graphic sex. The show would be too! I hope HBO realizes that and tones it down a notch! Its great and you should be watching too if you are not!

Ahh thanks for the synopsis StarChild. I've been meaning to catch an episode, but haven't had the time lately. I'll have to Tivo it the next time I think about it.

Nonono, I hope they don't tone it down, I don't have skinemax anymore... :p

Well they could still tone it down a notch and have plenty of skin and sex and all that to satisfy anyone. It seems that HBO thinks that if they do not have the sex scenes at least 3-4 times per episode it will not go over with the viewers.
Do not get me wrong, they have their place but the story line stands without all that. The books did not have that much sex in them. The TV producers and writers have taken poetic license a bit too far with this at least for me.

This concept is familiar but the way the story unfolds is unique. True Blood is one of my favorite series on HBO. I can't wait until the new season starts. My favorite character is Layfayette!

One of the best shows that I have seen in a while. It started the kick of the vampire crass. It makes you think about what it would be like if you were a vampire and makes you want to be one.

i had seen some trailers of "true blood" and looking forward to it and very excited of course..nope i havent watch the series..
