Each time I gave the box the verbal command to power down, it would display the words "power down" at the top left of the screen as usual, but then nothing else would happen. The dialog asking if I wanted the box to open into sleep mode or to cancel wouldn't come up. After several attempts to power down the box via voice command, I decided to try restarting the box. I scrolled to and selected the restart option from the box's settings. I decided to leave the box alone while it restarted and just shut my TV off. Two to three hours later at around 8:00 AM this morning I tried again to power thebox down via voice command and it powered down as it should. Was the box simply too busy processing the data from last night's update or was there a glitch that prevented it from powering down via voice command until it was restarted? "Was there a glitch in last night's update for the X1 TV box?," is about XFinity-Comcast Television.
