Oh, God, I find myself loving most of the movies you have mentioned here! Willy Wonka is my favourite (anti)hero and Shrek is just awesome. Asterix and Obelix films with Depardieu are also great for all ages.

I know it's late but maybe my information is useful for another person, Here is my suggestion:
The Incredibles comes to mind because they are both so silly and so brave and true and they are oh so individual. They get to suck, resolve to do better,
grow, they get to try amazing things, they get to go off and do their own thing then come back together again. The perfect family!

And another great family movie is Bolt
