What are Uncorrectables and Correcteds and what’s acceptable - Time Warner Internet

#1
This question is about "What are Uncorrectables and Correcteds and what’s acceptable", with Time Warner Cable internet and apps. Curious about these terms and what their impacts are. My downstream levels are all between +6.9 dBmV and 8.9 dBmV with S/N ratios of about 40 dB. My upstream levels are between 38.25 and 42.25 dBmV.

in 24 hours since a power down reboot of my Arris TM1602AP2 Modem, there are 55 Uncorrectables on downstream 1 and 28 on downstream 4 (at 7.3 and 7.6 dBmV respectively.

is this amount of Uncorrectables normal for a 24 hour period?

The reason I’m asking is that occasionally my Roku2 XS (connected via Ethernet) occasionally reboots during streaming video. My bandwidth is good - consistently close to the 200 down and 10 up Mbps plan I’m on, with occasional slowdowns. I’m wondering if some modem interrupts (Uncorrectables) can cause the Roku reboots. Don’t know if the interrupts are external to my equipment

What are Uncorrectables and Correcteds and what’s acceptable?
