Xfinity App thinks Gateway in bridge mode when it is not - XFinity

Hello Everyone
I have the same problem as other users here (whom you have solved the problem for him).
Like him, I tried to add an EERO PRO device to my Xfinity Modem, and it did not work. I first tried "withouth" the BRIDGE MODE" enabled, it did not work. I then tried with ENABLING The BRIDGE MODE. But it did not work either.
So I used a LAN connection to disable the bridge mode. Now the Gateway WiFi works again, but I can't access Xfi through the App or internet.
When I try, it says my Gateway is in bridge mode...it's not though.
I did reset the Gateway in every way imaginable and have waited more than 24 hours.
Seen a lot of similar comments of others having same issue, but no Comcast post with the solution.
